Alexa and Jez had a beautiful July wedding at St. Paul Catholic Church and their reception at The Cheyenne Lodge at The Broadmoor. Alexa wanted a sophisticated design of flowers, but also a casual feel with the addition of sunflowers and daisies. I loved mixing textured gold containers and birch to create unique arrangements to correlate with the feel of the lodge for her reception.

Alexa’s bouquet was a gorgeous combination of cafe au late dahlias, ranunculus, cottage yarrow, garden roses, hydrangea and lisianthus. Her bridesmaid’s bouquets were hydrangea, garden roses, daisies, sunflowers, and freesia.

For the reception, we designed the low arrangements with a more formal look in gold vases with dahlias, parrot tulips, garden roses, freesia, cottage yarrow, hydrangea, and stock. In the taller arrangements, we incorporated a bit of a rustic, casual feel by adding sunflowers and daisies to the design. We  loved how everything turned out and working with Alexa and her mom was such a pleasure!-Amber
