I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amanda and JP. They are such a sweet couple. When I met with them last year, we just clicked. At their consultation, they were describing all the things I love in floral design-bold, fun colors and natural, textural elements, and to top it off they both LOVED flowers!!
They were married at The Lodge at Cathedral Pines. This is one of our favorite venues because of it’s beautiful scenery and the setting is very intimate. It’s really a blank canvas to create the wedding of your dreams.
We lined the aisles with these beautiful lanterns filled with dahlias, freesia, astilbi, and seeded eucalyptus.
The brides’s bouquet included dahlias, coral peonies (my favorite!!), stock, freesia, carolina sapphire (to bring a touch of the mountain feel), hypericum berry, scabiosa, and ranunculus. The bridesmaids bouquets included roses, dahlias, scabiosa pods, astilbi, and mixed grasses.
We LOVE how the arch turned out. A lovely pop of color in the forest!
The groom loves to garden and the couple lives in California, so the decided to have a “unity tree”! They had a small orange tree they watered together. Love, love, love this idea!
Their centerpieces were mixed rustic boxes with peonies, stock, ranunculus, freesia, and astilibi. We re-used the lanterns on the other tables to give the reception more interest.
